I think that it is a racist statement. It is racist because being hispanic is not a race, its an ethnicity. To me just because youre hispanic doesnt mean that youre a certain way. If you are hispanic you dont necessarily have to be white or black or look a certain way, everyone is different and we dont all come from one country or same place. I dont think that by describing someone as Hispanic can help in any way to find what a person looks like, sometimes someone is hispanic and you wont even notice until they tell you or they speak spanish.If being hispanic is a race then so is being chinese and japanese and all those other countries. But its not, cause they dont all look the same. I think its very racist to say that someone looks hispanic, for all i know there can be hispanic people that are white, black, purple, grey and yellow, and they dont look like one.
